Animoca Brands and Atari Enhance Collaboration Through Token Swaps
Animoca Brands Corporation Limited and Atari SA have announced an expansion of their partnership through a series of token swaps involving their respective cryptocurrencies, REVV and ATRI. This move builds on their previous collaborations, which were initially detailed in an announcement made on August 4, 2020. As part of this strengthened relationship, Atari’s classic racing video games, Night Driver and Fatal Run, will now be integrated into the REVV ecosystem created by Animoca Brands, with further specifics to be revealed later.
Details of the Token Swap Agreement
The two companies have agreed to exchange tokens valued at $625,000. In this transaction, Atari will provide 7,812,500 ATRI tokens, while Animoca Brands will reciprocate with 5,000,000 REVV tokens, priced at $0.025 each, along with other tokens that are pending listing. A significant portion of this agreement involves locking away 90% of each token for a period of 18 months from the date of exchange, with the remaining 10% becoming available on the first day they are listed on an exchange.
Understanding the Atari Token (ATRI)
The Atari Token (ATRI) is an ERC20 token built on the Ethereum blockchain, intended primarily as a utility token within the interactive entertainment sector.
