Atari Inc. has announced the launch of minting for a new NFT collaboration featuring Brazilian pop culture artist Butcher Billy. This collection, which consists of 2,600 unique NFTs inspired by 15 original artworks, commemorates Atari’s 50th anniversary. Each NFT is designed to offer substantial utility that varies according to the rarity and specific characteristics of the artwork. The minting process commenced today at 1:00 p.m. EDT for individuals on the Allowlist, which had over 40,000 registrations before it closed on September 16. Additionally, NFT holders will have a one-in-ten chance to claim a complimentary framed print of their unique NFT, with the option to purchase additional prints at a discounted rate.
Holding these NFTs will provide continuous benefits, such as access to a token-gated Discord community exclusive to holders, priority listings for upcoming projects, early access to select blockchain initiatives from Atari and its partners, and ongoing interactive experiences like puzzles and treasure hunts.

Each NFT includes a complimentary Unstoppable Domains account, valued at $100, which simplifies complex wallet addresses into easy-to-use gamertag-style usernames.
