Computer Space, a space-themed shooting game, was developed by gaming legends Nolan Bushnell and Ted Dabney, the founders of Atari. This sale surpasses the previous record set in 2023 when a 1973 Computer Space sold for $45,600 during a Heritage Auctions event in Dallas, Texas. The market value of vintage gaming systems is often influenced by their historical significance, condition, rarity, and the emotional connections of those who remember them fondly.
